What counts as a "client"?
A client is any group you create inside the vault — typically one per business you manage. You can have as many credentials per client as you like within your plan limits.
How does the API work?
Agency and Enterprise plans include a REST API and Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. You can hand credentials to n8n, Claude, or any AI agent without ever exposing plaintext in logs.
Is my data safe if I cancel?
Yes. Your encrypted vault is always exportable. We provide a full JSON export that can be re-imported into any Passwordn instance — or decrypted locally with your master password.
What encryption do you use?
AES-256-GCM with keys derived via PBKDF2-SHA256 at 600,000 iterations (OWASP recommended). Encryption and decryption happen client-side only. We store ciphertext, not secrets.
